While eating I watched a few minutes of a football game. There was a silly beer commercial during it, which featured a lady attaching a flower to her husband's lapel with a nail gun.
But what REALLY scared me was that at the bottom of the screen it said "Do not attempt this yourself".
No shit. And you needed to tell us that.
On the other hand, after thinking about some of my patients, it's probably not a bad idea to put that warning up.

Pretty irresponsible ... not only about your patients who might possibly had inhibitory neurotransmitter - neuroreceptor functions at one time, but rather about those with an undeveloped frontal cortex.
But that warning will only work on people who can read.
And don't forget - it is unwise to use your hair blow dryer in the shower. At least that's what mine says.. it also warns that you shouldn't use while sleeping..
Lack of reading skills is one reason the universal "dont" sign (circle with line over whatever is prohibited) was invented.
Just stayed at a hotel that had the symbol with a coat hanger on the ceiling near each sprinkler head.
There was also tiny lettering on the sign stating that hanging things on the sprinkler head would cause a flood.
Guess someone must have already done it...
Never mind the nail gun. They need the warning "Do not attempt this yourself" in the scene where the person drinks the Bud Light.
Good one Hessoli Man, I agree completely. Bud Light and Coors Light are akin to beer-flavoured water. They should market them as "The Beer for people who don't like Beer!" Kinda like White Zinfindel....
Anon, you can look this up on Snopes (it's true) - the reason for the sign telling you not to hang stuff on the shower head is because of a woman who hung her very heavy wedding dress off of the shower head at her hotel, breaking off the head and flooding an entire floor.
They need to get rid of that warning. I imagine if we had less of those warnings on everything, we might end up with a much smarter population.
I say go for it! The said lady later attempts to use that on her man's genitals... errr, zipper. One less dumbass swimming in my gene pool, I say.
Good Lord! I saw that too and had the same thought.
And, then I had that thought again when the next Bud light commercial came on with a dog driving a car...do not attempt.
Seriously, are people that stupid? Oh, wait, scratch that comment.
These warnings brought to you
by the drunk guys who tried to
trim the hedge with a lawnmower...
Of course, you do not attempt this yourself. You get your wife to do this. Doesn't anybody pay attention?
which featured a lady attaching a flower to her husband's lapel with a nail gun.
And apparently the lady is not Mrs. Youngman.
Beer-wise, Stone Brewery has an ale that is just right for me. And I am worthy. :-)
Sadly, these warnings are necessary for insurance purposes. Without them people would do silly stuff, and when they got injured they'd be saying "but nobody told me not to" and suing the heck out of the company involved. Costing the company, the courts and ultimately the taxpayers millions of dollars.
