I guess that's a fairly exciting gamble.
I BET if he won the migraine got better?
I bet it was cheaper to go to the casino!
So, instead of curling up under a blanket and hiding from all lights and sounds, he actually goes a loud, noisy area with lots of blinking bright lights.
Yep, makes perfect sense to me!
Did it work?
How do you manage to hold yourself back from screaming at people?
Helen- because Annie will kill me if I do.
But they are BEGGING you to strangle them!!!! It's justifiable homicide!
Casino? Sure bet way to GET a migraine if you ask me!--flashing lights, noise, smoke...
I think Annie should let you yell at them just a little bit. Nah, I know you just have to hold it in and get another Diet Coke--though I'm telling you, sometimes margaritas work better...
There is something to be said about the theory of distraction - she would've been so into her game that the migraine went away... *shrugs*
Ummm.......I believe in the theory of distraction but it has to be in an environment that does NOT exacerbate a migraine. I have never been to a casino and one of the reasons is it looks like a sensory night mare to me.
I think eye rolling would be acceptable if screaming is not.
Dear Dr. Grumpy, I have to congratulate you on the quality of your followers and respondents...I get as big a kick out of reading the comments as I do your blog.
Thanks!
eye rolling and a good "whatever" while putting up the hand.
A casino for a migraine. Maybe she needed money to pay for the treximet ROFLMAO
"Good Idea!" (thanks from your friendly ER doctor!)
