I am rolling on the ground laughing!! For me, yeah, they are about the same. Alas, codeine keeps me up all night, too. Takes all the fun out of tylenol 3.

It is a miracle that your patients get to that "certain age". Alcohol, methyl or ethyl what is the big deal.

caffeine, codeine, compazine, carbamazapene. all conjugations of the same verb- careen.
I'm with the above commenter....they all start with "C" don't they? Hahahahahha. How did you keep a straight face? Instead of " C is for cookie" a la Cookie Monster on Sesame Street- just insert said drug.
I had an ICU nurse ask me (25 years ago) if clonidine and quinidine were the same thing.

Maybe the cardiologist meant he should sprinkle codeine in his coffee to temper the effects of the caffiene.
