Guess again

Dr. Grumpy: "Have you ever had surgery?"

Mr. Hollow: "Yeah, they took out my internal organs."

Dr. Grumpy: "Which ones?"

Mr. Hollow: "Um, I don't know. All of them?"

Reminds me of when my husband was having chemo for a tumour in the meninges around his brainstem. A well-meaning teacher asked one of my sons, who was only about 7 at the time, what his dad was going into hospital for. "I think he's having his brain removed" my son responded.
Same son, ten years later, still argues with his dad by saying "What would you know? You had your brain removed!"

That's okay, really, just so long as they put them back.

"In retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have gone with the discount liposuction."

As opposed to your external organs.

...and then they replaced them with a motor and a jar of pickles, and I woke up in a bath full of ice.

Ahh, the tinfoil hat brigade.

A patient of my aunt's complains that when he went to hospital, they stole all his good organs for transplant and replaced them with crappy ones, and then shows his huge surgical scar, (from exploratory surgery following MVA). He's also (understandably) non-compliant with all his meds, and extremely combative when faced with evil organ-stealing doctors. Twice-weekly dialasys involves him being restrained and spending the whole time screaming "Help, they're stealing my blood, help."

Sounds like his remaining muscle and vascular system are compensating well for the lack of organs dontcha think? I think he may be a walking miracle!
