Mr. Neisseria: "Um, Flaykbegon."
Dr. Grumpy: "What happens when you take Flaybegon?"
Mr. Neisseria: "Um, it, uh, well, after a few days my um, dick got all itchy and drippy."
Dr. Grumpy: "Sir, that's not an allergic reaction."
Mr. Neisseria: "Really? 'Cause my girlfriend said it was the medication that did it."

So, did you give him a shot of Rocephin? ;)
I'll have to remember that one for the future. Haha.
Sound's like he's a real go-getter (BTW WV was: getter ;-P)
She is pretty good at fairy tales, isn't she? And here I thought people were only getting treatment for STDs in the ER (one of my friends told me she had a couple come in for his and hers STD tests)?
I know I always think of neuros when I think of primary care. Not! (Only if you choose for your MS or ALS patients...)
He's gonnareally talk to her now ;-)
ahahaaahhhahahahaaaaa!
*dead pan stare*
Was he dumber than a sack of nails?
"She says she knows a lot of guys who are having the same allergic reaction."
Is it really that unusual to get STD tests? I make sure to get one whenever I have a new partner (and make them get one too), which isn't all that often, but still. Better safe than sorry right?
There are many, many reasons I am glad I am not a doctor--but having to have a conversation like that one would be near the top of the list.... ;-)
Cheers,
Doxy
Oh My. Does this chap know where babies come from?
It was a medication problem.
The problem was the girlfriend dind't take a medication!
Reminds me of the Seinfeld where her boyfriend says she got gonorrhea from wearing her bathing suit while riding a tractor.
Oops...
Tat sounds a lot like a friend's cousin who told his new wife she needed to take antibiotics to prevent her catching his "urinary tract infection", conveniently forgetting to tell her he got it during his bachelor party.
Ick, ick, ick!!!!!!! People should really be aware of the signs of an STD....blech!
