Whatever

Dr. Grumpy: "Who's your regular internist?"

Mrs Belfry: "Dr. Elderly. He specializes in generic patients."

Dr. Grumpy: "Generic patients?"

Mrs: Belfry "You know. Old people."

Dr. Grumpy: "You mean geriatrics?"

Mrs. Belfry: "Whatever. Same thing."

I have a patient that always wants a re-do on his subscription instead of a refill of his prescription. I also get calls about genetic drugs instead of generics.

The weather channel here had a segment where they asked people on the street about what they thought about the weather; one said he was 'rather ambidextrous about it all'

Generic, Geriatric, Genetic, If it starts with G and ends in IC it must mean the same thing, right? There can't be more than one word like that... Sort of like how "Idiot" and "Patient" mean the same thing.

Back in the days when I worked in the warfarin (coumadin) clinic, I had one memorable lady call and ask whether she'd got through to the Anti-Copulation Clinic.

I stated that I was going to vacuum my lawn once...
