Dr. Grumpy: "And when was that?"

I guess you know the exact diagnosis: a head thing.

Maybe the perfect treatment for her too? Some drug or other, or maybe something else.

Probably remembers how they started, not when they started...

Nope. I asked about that, too.

I think she is probably right. Mine started when I read her response.

I think I can understand why this one was a referral.

@Packer - Same here!! I know when mine started, when I was 17. My daughter's started at the same age (this year) however, like my mother's migraines, her migraines are linked to hormonal cycles and have decreased with a low-dose hormone prescription (immediately, yay!!). She also responds well to Imitrex as do I. Now if mine would just get better. meh. But my neurologist has moved to Vandy & I got to see her yesterday, YAY!!

Thanks, once again, for the giggle.

Mine started in my teens, but I didn't realize they were migraines because I thought that for a headache to be a migraine, the victim had to get nausea and vomiting. When I learnt that not all migraineurs get GI problems and that the hallmarks of a migraine are visual disturbances like haloes, shooting lights and photophobia, I realized that I was a migraineur.

Wow, how precise she is (not). LOL
Mine started when I was younger too but I know when. I was 24, before that I had tension headaches for as long as I can remember. At 24 the migraines hit.
