Obvious comment about how the study is from China. There are plenty of words in East Asian languages that transliterated into English become obscene'
The Nova thing is a myth. In Spanish, "nova" and "no va" are two different things. Kind of like the website for Pen Island - which looks like Penis Land.
Speaking of which, the PNIS thing has been done: http://pnis.co/ (Read the editorial. I laughed myself stupid(er).)
With these kinds of things, you REALLY want to make sure you have the right chirality.
