Why you need an iPhone

Dr. Grumpy: "Have you ever smoked?"

Mr. Precise: (whips out iPhone, taps a few times): "One cigarette, on September 21, 1958, at around 2:00 in the afternoon. It was when I was at Ohio State."

"I'd just tried my first plate of the local cinnamon-flavored chili, and I desperately needed something to take the taste out of my mouth."

Shoulda seen the BG readings this patient wanted to show me at heart failure clinic. Wire-bound notebooks, he had, simply full of Accu-Chek blood glucose readings. Wish he'd also recorded blood pressure, weight, caloric intake, medication doses and other more pertinent facts for a relational understanding of the disease.

Now there's a patient it wouldn't be too painful to get a history from. I think.

BTW, Dr. Grumpy. I've been worried about Craig's hair. You haven't mentioned it lately. It is still on his head, right? Justin Bieber hasn't sued you for some weird copyright thing over it? Please, just don't tell me if he's gone and shaved it and that's why you haven't mentioned it.

Aspergers? Sounds like something my aspie husband would do.

Well, on the plus side, at least Mr. Precise, unlike a few of your patients, will know what medications he is taking and the dosages. That should be worth something.

Everyone is a little OCD at times.
