Decor here is fairly spartan. A few generic pictures. On a counter, like most doctors, I have various anatomy models that I use to explain things to patients.
So yesterday afternoon, as I was walking a demented lady back to my exam room, she stopped and looked at them for a minute.
Then she turned to her son and said "Look, Steven, they have Christmas decorations up over here."

In her final illness, my grandmother was convinced that it had to be Christmas because I was visiting her. It didn't help that my mother hadn't taken down the decorations yet (in February) because seeing them made Granny so much happier. It was her favorite holiday.
It might have been this lady's favorite holiday, too, but her eyesight leaves something to be desired!
Nothing like singing carols around the yule brain.
