Dragonism Dangers

(What's a Dragonism?)

Catching up on dictations this morning.

What I wanted to say: "He's accompanied by his girlfriend, who's brought his past MRI reports."

What happened: "He's accompanied by his girlfriend, who's... (cell phone rings, I answer "Hello, Really? WHAT!?")

And the computer typed: "He's accompanied by his girlfriend, who's really hot!"

Obviously, your computer has a different set of standards for female beauty than you do.

Not much of a surprise, when you think about it.

Which begs the question, should people with Tourette's Syndrome have self-typing dictation programs?

I gave up on Dragon due to the dragonisms and the situation which you've described. I'd constantly be interrupted by the phone or someone at the door and the dictation would include that info.
