Even with what I think it meant to say:
0 active inhalation
It doesn't make sense. Maybe someone has a better guess. This bothers me, how many patients have suffered incorrect treatment because the order wasn't legible.

I thought of that, too, except it doesn't correlate with anything going on with him.

Then again, maybe he meant -- and this is especially scary if all the patient had was a headache -- "No active interventions."

Perhaps het meant Lalaland = sleepwalker -> lack of sleep -> headache?

I read it as "no active inhalation" which would be an odd but technically correct description of someone who is apneic as part of a brain death exam. But Dr. Grumpy says that's inconsistent with this patient's condition, so maybe not.
As one who reviews hospital records quite frequently, things like this make me love EMRs.
Is the patient a lawyer? "Not active in law at all" written by a very sleepy, dyslexic resident.

Okay, so some of you big city folks might find our little town to be a bit too sleepy for your taste, but the folks here are friendly and it's a great place to raise your children.
This is a terrible situation indeed. It must be rectified immediately, lest Grumpyville and all its inhabitants be consumed in flames and lava and earthquakes and lightning and hydrofluoric acid and antimatter when the great god Lalataw manifests Himself on earth. Almost certainly 'no active inhalation' meaning that whoever wrote it doesn't think it is a carbon monoxide case.
If they were on a ventilator, I'd assume that meant they weren't breathing over the vent, that the machine was donig all the work for them. If not on a vent, well then I'd call a coroner.

Besides huffing paint, could also refer to sniffing glue, (or other toxic substances) any of which could trigger a migraine; such as diesel fumes; strong perfume, etc.
No active Lalaland...obviously passed their mental health test! Yippeeeeee!!!
