Whatever

Mr. Ancient: "My pediatrician said I have nerve damage in the foot."

Dr. Grumpy: "You mean podiatrist?"

Mr. Ancient: "Whatever."

The other day my pt had a colostomy, ya know the gallbladder was removed. (and this was from the nurse giving me report)

I agree with Lois, he may have had a long-standing issue therefore had nerve damage in his foot. :0)

Today I had to make a courtesy call to a family doctor with the result of an x-ray done on his patient,after the patient came to my Unit for treatment...
"So...the patient has fractured his talus" I said
"What part of the hip is that?" asked the doctor

Had a little kid tell me that his dog had to be "seduced" by the vet for a surgical procedure (he obviously meant sedated).

Hahahah. I've had someone mix up feet and kids before too! They sound far too similar.
