The Time-Traveler's Neurologist

This message was left on Mary's voice mail at 10:35 this morning:

"Hi! This is Mrs. Clock. I need someone to call me back at home. I'll be at the house until 10:15 this morning, and it's 10:30 now, so if you can call me back before I leave 15 minutes ago that would be great."

Yes, she really did say that. Or is saying that. Or will say that.

What is that thing about being oriented to time and place?

Right.

She should probably see a neurologist.

Maybe she already has, someday.

So it must be a full moon or something, we had similar voicemail, only asking us to rescedule an appointment to last wendesday, that she missed tomorrow...

Uh, say what??? I'm confused just reading what she said!

Apparently, she has an Omega machine that turns time back by 15 minutes. Tim Allen's, in the movie "Galaxy Quest," time machine, "Omega 13," could only go back 13 seconds.

Glad to hear that you've improved so much.

You must be so proud.

So few people are willing to go to the trouble of taking relativistic effects into account anymore.

I have to know...did Mary attempt to call her back?

She must think Mary is really awesome...

Actually... for once I don't find this funny... as my dad died from a brain tumour and said things exactly like this for the weeks up to his death. His time and spatial perception were mixed up. That's fairly common, too, isn't it?
:(

Sorry...

You have the most interesting patients. Maybe because you're a neurologist?

There once was a lady named Wright
Whose speed was much faster than light,
She went out one day
In a relative way,
And came back the previous night.

Anonymous and Heterodyne:

I can just imagine that the Awesome Mary called her back at 10:00....after winding the office wall clock back 30 minutes!
I am SUCH a big fan (100% virtual) of Mary; I think it must be LOVE!
