all righty then....better just treat the immediate problem and send this patient on his/her way....before the rest of the story starts to emerge and you all feel like you are on Geraldo!
Maybe the patient's boyfriend and daughter are both named Chris? Maybe the daughter and her boyfriend are both named Chris? I know two (heterosexual) couples who have the same first name (Carol/Carol and Bryn/Bryn). Maybe it's easier just to write one name for both :)
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Is that what's called a gender bender??

I think Anonymous is right, the / should be "of".
Ah, the ethical and oedipal question about whether someone should date their transgendered child.
I'm guessing Chris is the boyfriend of the female patient's mother.

Was your pt named Pat?
Forget about it, Ibee. This is Chinatown.
I had a patient introduce himself as the son, then later identify himself as the boyfriend O.o
I knew that Supreme Court decision had more far reaching implications.
I don't even wanna know!! LOL
It's complicated.
maybe be "boyfriend's daughter".... some people cannot deal with apostrophes and the mysteries of punctuation
