It's when other people make you aware that you are less aware of forgetting that i was supposed to remember something that i can't remember having to remember.

My mother, when we finally told her she had Alzheimer's, said "I don't remember forgetting anything!"

How I kept a straight face, I don't know, but its been a classic in our family everysince...
