Artisanal: now with artisanally dangerous additives

Thank you, Sheila!

I'm trying to wrap my mind around how an "all natural" product would have chicken, apple, and sausage combined.

As long as the "foreign material" is also artisanal, or at least natural, wouldn't it be okay?

the apple, chicken and sausage were combined artisanally, and the foreign matter is thus fingernails or saliva.

maybe they just fed apples and sausage (and other natural ingredients) to the chickens before ....well, you know

What the drinking when you decided to buy chicken apple sausage...just the idea makes my stomach turn...eeeww!

my husband (thank you, sweetie) does the shopping. all of it.

BUT had these at a friend's house, and they were GOOD off the grill.
So, when they showed up in my fridge, with "artisinal" label, it was funny. Really funny when the recall letter came....

Chicken is suspect alone...(raised them, and beef)...another reason to defend my love of tartare
