Junior Achievement

I pick up the kids after work.

Craig: "Dad, can we stop at your office? I need to use the copy machine for my homework."

Dr. Grumpy: "Sure. What's up?"

Craig: "Marie got a homework-free pass she's going to use tomorrow, and I want one, too."

Sounds like an excellent chance to explain to him the evils of copyright infringement!

Don't the real ones have little red and blue silk threads in them. That kid is just too smart.

And dad, do you have enough paper in the copier to make about 150 copies so I don't have to do homework for the rest of the school year?

I foresee a bright future for him in business or local politics.

Another example of being proud of his honesty and smarts and wanting to ground him for trying. You must be proud :)You have to give him credit for trying. We also all know that he's under 13 because after that he would have lied!

Make him do it the hard way--copy the homework pass by hand.
