"Doctor, our company is actively involved in Alzheimer's research. In fact, one of our internal studies recently found that patients and their families are concerned the disease may cause memory loss. They worry about being forgetful, too."

I'm a test subject, too, so let me tell you about how our company is actively involved in research... We're researching something....
What was that about again? I'm afraid I can't remember. ::snicker::
I hate to tell them this but at a certain point remembering is rather useless. I helped take care of my late grandparents. My grandmother had several strokes & TIAs while my grandfather had Alzheimer's. I make a notebook with instructions on how to use the toaster, coffee maker and so on in LARGE print. We still got phone calls about how to do things which was when I finally managed to convince mom & my aunts that they needed 24/7 assistance. ::sigh::
Everybody and his brother is researching Alzheimers, because of the prospect of millions of aging baby boomers racing head on into the abyss. Just think what it will be like with 5 million or so untreated 80 y o where they hop in the car in NY, and arrive 6 days later in CA without a clue as to how they got there. Let the games begin, cause we aint seen nuttin yet.
I suppose this drug rep was a college grad too? Let me ask, in the words of my late father, "Whatthehell are they teaching these kids in school nowadays?"
shoot. I forgot what I was going to say.................:-) ah hell, I'll just have a beer.if I can remember where I put it. Wait, I dont drink beer. I drink coke.....dont I? um, I'll just drink whats ever in this glass....
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Does the drug do anything for pointless repetition?
Another reason I refer to them as "drug whores"...............
Oh well, I was in the pharma industry for 14 years and I never got to use a line like that.
