Reader Donal sent this from Ireland. He says it was a sign in the auto repair shop he was at:
Hillary was at Starbucks, and saw this menu item:
And Laura sent this Spirit Airlines vacation ad, offering great discounts on trips to warmer regions.
Because, after all, who wouldn't want to go south for VD, when it's only $9 each way?

Go south for VD? LOL!
Grumpy, I loves ya.
"Because, after all, who wouldn't want to go south for VD"
I read VD as veneral disease. Not sure if you doctors read it as Valentine's Day or veneral disease.
It can mean either, and in this case the double meaning is just awesome.
"Two Moms In The Raw" ??? Sounds like naked people :p
I googled it. Mom with MS who tried to create healthier food options.
Open until 10 EST. (Dublin Pub Time)
Two Moms in the Raw--Starring Jenna Jamison (spelling) see I don't really know from experience how she spells her name.
Nah, don't even want to touch Going South for VD--can you blame me
Don't these "go south" deals usually come with a minimum stay requirement?
is that an artisan 2 moms in the raw granola?
You ought to put the "Go south for VD" logo on T shirts and sell them.
The ineptitude of some companies and/or printers is amazing. I'm working on a piece on the topic, after seeing a huge banner at a local rug place:
BIGEST SALE EVER!
Amazing.
Haha! I just posted some fails on my blog on Sunday!!! I love these! Mine were of a menu and a tag from a blanket... Engrish is fun :)
To Animal: I was thinking venereal disease too when I saw that. Must be from working in the medical field. I also chuckle whenever someone says VD for Valentine's Day ;)
Brilliant!! $9 for VD, cheaper than wining and dining for it..!
I never took a photo but a sign on a Chinese Restaurant near our place used to say in big letters on the placard outside
"WE ARE OPEN! til we close"
Very effective.

"5 days of the week, we're open 7 days!"
Grumps:
Your comment "the double meaning is just awesome" is absolutely a killer! A++!
Implies huge cynicism about the true intentions of Valentime's Day.
A good pun is worth a 1000 words?
LMAO over here!
Cliff
@Reddkatz & Animal: On my side of the pond VD always means venereal disease. :-P
