Wish my doctors were so helpful at getting me in the same day. Maybe people think they'll have to argue with Mary, so they start negotiating with an immediate day to establish urgency. It never occurs to them you might actually be able to accomodate them . . . .
Our patients always say "I can come in anytime" until you give them a time. Then it's all "no not Mondays, oh I can't come in before 10am, but it has to be before 2pm"

My doctor's office is next door to a high school -- so please don't give me an appointment where I have to arrive or leave at 3pm!
