And I understand you running late for your appointment. I mean, the rain mucks up traffic, and makes everyone fall a few minutes behind.
We appreciate you calling to say that you'll be a few minutes late. We believe you that it's raining. We can see that for ourselves.
You really don't need to send Mary a picture from your car to prove it.

They just want to make sure you understand that it's raining..
Hmmm. Awfully blue skies for a rainy day. I'd think a garden hose if the street wasn't so shiny.
Doctor Grumpy, it's raining!
What did we ever do B4 cell phones. Plus in Oregon it's against the law to be on the phone while you're driving - unless you're using a bluetooth or some such device.
"Hi, I'm going to be a little late because I lost control of my car and skidded into a bus in the oncoming lane as a result of using my cell phone camera while I was driving in the rain. Here's a picture of the accident scene."
Okay, since you were such a good sport about the Creative Liar, I mean, Writer award - I've recommended you over at "Greg Pincus' Blog"
Do you patients have Mary's email address? (or perhaps worse, her mobile number?)

Too funny. I guess if the television one doesn't work, this one will have to do.
Perhaps the lady who canceled her appointment because of the Olympics should have taken a photo of her television set and emailed it to Mary.
yeah...the traffic looked pretty harmless up ahead in that pic. 25 dollar late fee!!
On the contrary, this should be a new policy. Send us a photo of your excuse. It would cut down on bogus excuses!
I noticed other commenters are doing this: captcha word = likeeme
They showed up with back pain from the car accident they got into while photographing while driving?
They have Mary's email.
Wow, thanks for the picture! I have now cracked the location where you practice!
Just kidding.
