"Doctor, Sleepalot is safe and effective for insomnia. Research shows that people who are more awake are less likely to be asleep, and therefore may benefit from Sleepalot."

That's why every practice should have a pharmacist on staff for counseling, mtm, and formulary management. We could save the doctors thousands of dollars and hours in wasted time fighting with insurance companies. We'd also be much more objective with updating doctors about new drugs. Yes, I realize that they drug reps take you all out to lunch.....I'm not so good at the brown nose stuff.....

I like to sleep. However I can't do that without aid. I just wonder Why they named it Ambien CR. I want to think it's Ambien Can't Remember. I wonder if I do things I can't remember.

But what kind of sleep will they be getting with Sleepalot? Do you use it yourself or do you just use a companion medication Stupalot? or Brainfogalot?

I kid you not, I got a lecture on formulating just this kind of statement today. Graduate school: ruining future scientists one lecture at a time. At the rate I'm going, I won't have a rational/sensible thought left by the time I graduate. I'll simply speak in acronyms and form ridiculous hypotheses. *headdesk*

On the other hand, the girl in front of me in class today who--again, I am not making this up--wore jeans that rode down far enough to show the back of her entire thong (including the large bow on the back) and had her Lexus keys and iPhone thrown under her chair and nothing on the table (not taking any notes whatsoever), well, I hope to god she ends up as a drug rep instead of as a scientist or physician. Yipes!

That drug rep was from the Department of Redudancy Department, weren't they?

Just a little snarky said...

1. Did she really say that out loud?

2. Was she blonde?

Me: We have noticed that a good amount of our patients using your drug are getting extremely serious bouts of hiccups..is there anything you can reccomend to alleviate them?
Helpful Drug rep: Tell them to think of the last time they saw a white horse
Me: Excuse me???
Helpful drug rep: exactly! It works every time! They will be so busy thinking about the horse the hiccups will go away

Thanks for the priceless medical advice Mrs. SmartRep
