I couldn't believe that I found this on a hospital's website. I'm getting VP shunt tomorrow, and was trying to show her how a neurosurgeon uses navigation with CT scans.
Then out of nowhere, this gem. I like that you can see the guy is on some sort of luggage cart and a shower curtain.
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

For realzies!
What about rad exposure to the people in the vicinity?
There is a reason they put the CT scanner in that room with the thick walls.
The 70's called and want their music back. It sounds like something from a failed detective show.
Yeah, how do you shield it??
Well how about that. Someone finally invented the rolling donut. Now you really CAN tell someone to go take a flying f*ck at a rolling donut!
So glad I live in Canada; you guys are harsh in the U.S.!
Love the 70's porn music, it was a real selling feature for me, now I want to go buy my own CT scanner.
Anon at 6:19....
We've been doing portable xrays for decades... those lead lined/lead equivalent walls in the radiology dept are just for show.... :D
