Diagnosi sound more sophisticated in French. Sadly, most Americans do not know additional languages.
nothing will happen to the documents, but Siri says: When you are done, the interviewer and you will go to France.
I don't think this is odd.
I'm not a native speaker and though I can read english well enough I might prefer a survey in my mother tongue even though I would have to review documents written in english.
LOL! about Siri
You could take the survey in both languages and really futz up the results.
If you speak three languages you are trilingual. If you speak two languages, you are bilingual. If you speak one langauge, you are an American!
Note that it doesn't say that it's being offered in "English AND French," which would give you a choice between the two. It's being offered in "English OR French," meaning it could be either but you don't get a choice. Tant pis.
This is what happens when engineers rule. I love engineers (have them in the family)but sometimes, skills in English are required.
Love the comments about Suri. My husband gets some crazy comments from "her".
Brent--Ouch! True, though.
I wish I had taken Spanish instead of French in High School. It would be more useful now. Haven't used French since HS.
And the ones we offer in French will be in either bourgeoisie or proletariat style and be the same as the ones we offer in either conversational or rap English. Check our translation while you're about it.
And we will be asking you to review some documents in Esperanto, so do your best to listen well the first time for we will repeat once out loud and we will not provide translation for the transcript.
Please Si'l vous plait, do not quibble with us. Address all inquiries to the French Embassy. Merci beaucoup.
They're called "texts," if you please.
