It raises a number of points (so to speak):
1. Wow. I had no idea urology models were this buff. Usually the patients are guys in their 70's with a bloated prostate.
2. Where's the left adrenal gland?
3. What's with the hands? They look like a 1970's GI Joe doll.
I asked my staff for opinions, and they feel our office needs more educational displays of this sort.

Mmmmmmmmmm . LOL
I needed a good laugh this morning.
I find it unusual that no one in the office mentioned the need to display Mr. Buff Uromodel's jewels.
If his adrenal gland is really that screwed up, did you really need to display the whole urinary tract?
And yes, I absolutely agree about the typical uro patient. If my patients saw this model, they'd be asking if that doc will make them look like that when he's done.
No wonder urology is so darned busy at Washington these days!
This is just hilarious! I'm glad I don't take care of adults...
"Damn, do I wish I had Kung Fu Grip!"
Hmm...I wonder if this artist has done any work for ob/gyn advertising?
Keeping anatomy in proportion with the huge testicles and large flaccid penis, I can only imagine the size of the knockers they would provide for a female!
OMG! IT'S DOCTOR MANHATTAN!
Why did they Photoshop out my head and chest hair??
Why is his iliac crest poking out of his body?
Mary and Anne have it right. Might be wrong area for your speciality, but perhaps in the breakroom ... Now for extra points, what areas of the brain are lighting up in their heads?
Forget about all that other junk, it is all about the ABs, it is always all about the ABs.
No one is mentioning the luridly colored bladder the size and shape of an inflated grapefruit??
The hands are in ballet form - you hold your middle finger and thumb as if you are holding a "little teacup" - with the buff bod, the model must have been a ballerina.
MOST OF US STARTED OUT ON WARM MILK...
It's inspiration for the patients. Hey, in 30 years, I hope I look like Ernestine Shepherd!

Perhaps the artist is trying out as an apprentice for Michaelangelo for the next David. LOL!
Well I could see how having a kidney in your chest cavity could cause urinary issues....
It appears that his left adrenal gland was lost in the same accident that removed the front half of that kidney.
I'm with Lizzie. It must be hard to breath with your kidneys resting on your diaphragm. I'm sure that all the 60+ year old guys with prostate issues would be happy to take the meds associated with this display.
Post pheochromocytoma picture????
Yes and I would like to thank the people that sent this to you and making my day Yummm!!! Gosh I'm a horney old woman....
I had no idea that a kidney was up somewhere near the armpits.
So uh it may be just "artistic lighting" or the way this was photographed but in addition to having kidneys in his chest and large junk, is he also missing half his left thigh and a portion of his left side? And it says so much about me that my first thought was "My, that's a large... Bladder."
And in response to Jillishness- "holdinga teacup" has nothing in the world to do with ballet though it sort of approximates how many times I've seen ballet teachers yell at students for having "hamburger hands". Actual ballet hands are thumbs tucked and all fingers are soft but pretty much straight. The middle finger might be slightly lower than the others but absolutely not curved. Hands are one of the biggest things people have trouble with and a great way to tell when people either have terrible training or none at all... Not trying to be a know-it-all, just spent most of my life in pretty hardcore ballet training.
Although in a ballet related note, now that Baryishnikov is in his mid-60's it appears he's now modeling for medical posters. ;)
To everyone commenting on "the kidneys are too high up" - nah, that actually is where kidneys are suposed to be. They're just under the diaphragm.
Compare the "gavel" from this screenshot out of Star Trek VI to the left testicle:

I definitely need a life...
You forgot to mention he's hung like a donkey.
