My brain hurts

Dr. Grumpy: "Any other issues we didn't talk about?"

Mr. Huh: "No, I think you've covered everything you have, and you haven't covered anything you shouldn't, and everything that you didn't cover wasn't mentioned. So, I think we haven't talked about anything that wasn't discussed."

Well, you can at least give him credit for accuracy!

I was wondering whatever happened to Donald Rumsfeld.

So the Yak Herder has a lawyer for a pt.
Like Nurse Lilly, I was wondering what happened to Rummy. Looks like you have him.

Reminds me of string theory (a fairly new branch of physics). Incomprehensible to all but a few, but internally consistent.

I'm curious as to what the patient thinks is something you shouldn't cover, which you didn't, something that perhaps you thought about covering but was concerned that the patient might think you shouldn't cover, yet might be something you really should have covered because how can we say the patient is really equipped to know that there is something that you didn't cover that you shouldn't cover.

How many things did we mention that we didn't mention?

I think...

We discussed everything we talked about

and

we haven't talked about anything that wasn't discussed

Looks like he made his point and certainly his point was made, the point being that making a point was in fact the point being made.

You sure about that now? Because, if you're sure, then I'm sure that you're sure, and we can both be sure together. But, if you're not so sure, then one of us is not sure, and we cannot be sure together. On the other hand, I'm beginning to lose my surety, for sure, and perhaps two of us that are not sure about it, unless of course, you're sure that you're sure, for sure.
