Big

One typo is made (at least I HOPE it's a typo), and the computer runs with it.

Thank you, S!

That is a pretty enormous mistake.

Is the patient on Jupiter?

Wow, that's a big momma!

Crap! Now the EMR will create all kinds of necessary interventions.

The patient is soon to be featured on a show on TLC. "My 1 Ton Life."

Sweet - that should be a level 5 visit and/or bump up your RVUs at least!

You body shamers are the worst.

One ton? That's 22175. 11 tons and change.

I like that they calculate the BMI to seven significant digits. Because precision is important.

WTF is wrong with (some of) you people?

HAHAH Let's make fat jokes! It's hilarious because nobody ever actually says these things to fat people!

Oh, wait. They do.

Some of you might try to remember that even though this is an obvious mistake, it's not a validation of "jokes" that encourage treating fat people as less than human.

And don't tell me to "lighten up" because it's "just a joke." Words can hurt as much as fists. Think about it.

I agree. While the mistake may be funny, the body shaming is not.

Hey, that's my chart. Doesn't HIPAA count for anything?

Stop putting all your female yaks on the scale at the same time.

Very Common mistake. I've also seen (to use this example) a height of 54'.
