And I take it with breakfast. Or maybe with supper. And somedays I don't take it. So the next day I take two. Is that important?

Can't fix stupid.
My favorite was always ~ "I take a little white pill for my heart or BP or something. Don't you know what it is?"
Sometimes it is SO hard to keep your fingers from their throats!!!
Dr. Grumpy has again failed miserably at patient engagement, the new Holy Grail of modern medicine.
Maybe he takes methadone to manage it?
I get it. It's all relative; in the blood or the heart or particular vessel. If there is less lipid build-up in the blood, then the blood will be 'thinner' and thus lower blood pressure. It's a matter of relativity.
Um, I think it's a pill that will keep me from having a stroke.
Or maybe it will give me one.
All I know is that it's a pill and I take it....
Sounds like some of our people. The same ones have INRs of 7.

Simple: the pill's wavefunction exists in a superposition of all three states until the patient takes it.
"Oh, and in case anyone asks where I've been, can you remind me if you're the neurologist or the dentist?"
At the pharmacy: you filled the wrong one, I wanted by other pill. You are stupid and don't know how to do your job.......after being asked to refill based on the same patient line.

My husband's comment after hearing that quote: "It's round. Does that help?"
Reminds me of people who respond to the question, "What clinic follows your care?" with "The one in the hospital."
This is why you have an INR that varies from 1.2 to 8 weekly.
