"Patient resides in a hotel that has been out of wine since 1969. Patient also presents what appear to be a number of wounds from steel knives. Recommended that patient check out of hotel and leave it, but compliance appears unlikely."
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Ha, read it as coitus and wine depletion. What a combo!
It means dehydration from loss of fluid (volume), caused by the diarrhea colitis gives you.
A girl with colitis goes by.
Packer-Less circulating volume reduces blood pressure. Less fluid in the pipes, so to speak.

Wine depletion - only happens when I'm pretending to be Julia Childs and try to cook something French.
Why wait to catch a bartender's eye, when it's so much quicker to go to the ER and tell them you have chest pain?
As a chronic sufferer of whiskey depletion...
It took me three reads to realize it did not say "related to coitus and wine depletion."
You bring a grin to my face every day. Thanks.
