Mr. Negative: "No, just diabetes and high blood pressure."
Dr. Grumpy: "Do you take any medications."
Mr. Negative: "No, only Coumadin, Insulin, and Lisinopril."
Dr. Grumpy: "Are you allergic to any medications?"
Mr. Negative: "No, just Iodine and Penicillin."
Dr. Grumpy: "Any major illnesses run in your family?"
Mr. Negative: "Yes, they're all healthy."

So if I read this right, the entire family was wiped out in the plague. Conversations like that are annoying. Asked about one thing they answer something entirely different.
Always look on the bright side of life.
Dr. G. Do you have any neurological problems you came to see me about?
Mr. N. No, just seizures and a couple of strokes.
Phew, I'm so relieved to learn that diabetes and high blood pressure are not serious health issues.
"It's just a flesh wound."
Anonymous 8:55 & 11:17 - bonus points for the Monty Python references!
Love the Monty Python references!
I've had a few patients over the years who've answered health questions this way. I want to remind them that to answer "yes" to a question is an affirmative, while "no" is a denial.
"I don't think that word means what you think it means."
Yes, we have no bananas...
"You were referred to me because of the abnormal eeg?"
"Yeah."
"Done the week after you had your hemiplegia episode?"
"Yeah."
"The hemiplegia didn't bother you?"
"No. I mean yeah, it did, but my doctor sent me to you because of the slowing on the EEG, not for the hemiplegia."
"....ok I'm just going to talk about your hemiplegia now if that's ok."
"Do you suffer from any illnesses?"
"No, I'm enjoying them all."
