I went with my husband to the chiropractor for an adjustment. After describing his symptoms, the doctor asked "how long have you had this pain in your neck."
Hubby looked at me and asked, "How long have we been married?"
The upside to losing my job was that my blood pressure dropped enough that the dose of medication had to be lowered.
Also, the idea that weight loss alone changes blood pressure is an old myth. I can cite. It turns out that skinny people who sit on their ass are just as likely to have high blood pressure as fat people who sit on their ass. Want to lower your blood pressure? Exercise more. Just go take a walk. #1 way to do it, guaranteed.
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

It does help a lot if certain stressors in your life are disposed of...!
Don't laugh. It works.
And at least for me it was cheaper than paying for the meds.
stay safe.
Ha ha. Wish docs could write a script for that. My father in law needs it.
Might help his blood sugar too.

Divorce cured my IBS.
Well, if it works.
Divorce cured my depression. I kid you not.
I got off antidepressants via the same cure!
"Yup. Lost about 170 pounds. The lawyer cost a bit though..."
My co-worker said this is how she lost 250 ugly lbs one year.
Something very similar happened to me.
