Who's counting?

Mrs. Age: "My oldest sister turns 101 next week."

Dr. Grumpy: "Wow! Are you guys having a party for her?"

Mrs. Age: "Of course not. She died in '98."

"Instead, we're taking her on a trip to Berlin."

That's the worst excuse for not having a party I've ever heard.

We had a party for my great-grandfather's 100th birthday and he'd been dead a good 25 years. :-)

I guess that means my mom would be 102 if she hadn't died 39 years ago.

My husband and I have the same birthday and I have trouble remembering which one of us is what age? So that lady is doing okay - 'least in my book

"And since then, we've been banned from every Chuck E. Cheese in Grumpytown. Something about health codes. Maybe next year we'll try Pump It Up."

I love it when they then look at you as if to say, "what is WRONG with you????"

Since the sister is not dead, as in still ageing, she is not 101 years old (from birthdate), she is around 4.54 billion years old (age of the planet earths creation), as the atoms/molecules is what the sisters copse is made of .

That's like the patient who, when asked their age, says something like, "58...next September". Drives me crazy.
