That's a transcriptionist who wasn't thinking while listening. Or speech rec, which has no brain at all.
Yeah, that looks like a transcribing error more than a typo.
There needs to be some sort of lab value spell check.

@Rotating Intern--There is indeed a lab value spell checker: A competent and experienced editor/transcriptionist.
(As long as docs appear to think it's okay to let crap like this go on patients' charts without being proofed--because, after all, the vendor told them the software was 99.9 percent accurate--I'm gonna offer these gentle reminders that it just ain't so. It's kind of like having a free Risk Management consultant. Heh).
