What a deal!

I ordered a game for one of my kids off Amazon, and stumbled across this great pricing (bottom lines of the image):

New game: $34.48

Used game: $94.98.

It's Pokemon Platinum. The used will be more costly because the game has probably already been beaten, so everything has been collected. Put in hours of labour, and there's your "used" cost. =)

This was actually explained to me by my mom, who works at Amazon.com. She said the used cost can get higher because sometimes the site sells out it's stock, so then the people who are still selling used copies raise their prices, then either forget or just don't go back and lower them.

Still, nice deal there ;)
