Font issues

Dear Biogen,

Thank you for your Avonex demo pack.

In a recent nonscientific survey, 8 out of 11 people thought the C and L were a little too close together, and read the box somewhat differently.

Kerning matters.

Well, 8 out of 1O people have a dirty mind. Sadly, I fall in the last 2...
Kerning, the new twerking!

Exactly how I read it .

As the medications sucks the misread term is somehow appropriate.

If there is ever an opportunity to go the off-color route, I am all over it. Never heard the word "kerning" so I learned something new today. I should go home now and rest.

So there is an easier way than one click once a week? Location, location, location also matters. I fell into the 3 out of 11 that saw the difference but I'd nit pick on putting the question after the answer.

This ain't Jeopardy, yanno? (Then again, maybe it is?!)

Non-serif font is one of the banes of our recent culture.

You think it was an accident that people read it that way?

You're naive

All the amateur typographers come out now. Play nice. Pitch and descenders and ascenders count, too.

Remember this when your publisher says they will "design" your Great American Novel for you.

My personal favorite -- Garamond. But, I am an odd duck.

Love it! Reminds me of the time I brought a patient to the OR and glanced at the board. One patient was having a "dickectomy." I couldn't help but wonder how that informed consent went. TCG

What's it do?

That's one engorged-looking "V" in "Avonex."

What kind of batteries does it run on?

Kerning. Well, what did you know? With the extra "n" and all...

This blog is a font of knowledge.

Couldn't resist that one.

Although I like mortising better.

Sounds like a short appendage problem, often mistakenly associated with causing blindness.

Luckily, the fact that your arms are all too short can be solved by a pair of reading glasses.

There's a butcher shop in my neighborhood--Flicker Meats.

When the sign is lit at night (in red), it does not look like Flicker.
