Sheesh, a whole year to not be 39 anymore. I suppose by the time this person is 50 something, they'll have had nearly a quarter of a century NOT to be 39 anymore. What's so great about not being 39 anymore?
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Hmm...Dr. Grumpy didn't indicate gender...
It means you've just celebrated the first anniversary of your 39th birthday. I'm currently on my *mumble*mumble* anniversary of my 39th.
Jack Benny turns a page, finally.
I stopped counting when I ran out of fingers and toes.

I'm 6'0", which is rather tall for a woman. Sometimes, when people ask me how tall I am, I say "5 foot 12."
Once I said that and the nice gentleman smiled at me and said, "Ah, almost 6 foot?"
Yeah, almost...

I had a much harder time accepting 30 than I did 40. I'll be 45 on Wednesday and so far I'm alright with it :).
I quit having birthdays at 25, so there.
My dad always tells people that he's 5 foot, 19. They get a real kick out of that, if they can figure it out!
I gotta accept that next month, myself.
