Obviously that patient works for Microsoft: The answer is true, factual, and of absolutely no use for the purpose of the question asked.
helpful ... very helpful ... not
but was it one of your patients?
No.
Since when do patients actually do what we tell them?
come on Doc,it beats" I saw it on TV "like the ultrasound pt.said
You have a valid point.
- "It's a test, therefore it must be good"
"Specifically, the neurologist I met in a bar last night who was offering free brain diagnoses. Some of those tests he ran were pretty weird, though. And how come none of the other patients getting EEGs are taking their clothes off and being photographed while they do it?"
Better than Dr. needs Benz.
WHAT?!?!?! Someone actually listened to their neurologist!
she couldn't have been one of your patients ... she remembered to do the test and then did it
LOL - your blog makes my depression go away because i start laughing so hard i don't remember why i'm depressed in the 1st place
I'm a CMA and when I ask a patient why they're being seen today I often times get the answer "because the doctor said so". D'oh!
Am I the only person who has ever had a doctor tell me they'd like me to have a test without giving me any more information than that they think I need to have it? Really? I ask why, but not everyone does.
At least s/he's compliant...?
