margin for error = 0.71%
Obviously the people who answered no include the likes of Big Foot, the Yeti, Nessie, the Chupacabra, and that character from the O'Reilly factor.
They say 5 out of 4 people have trouble with statistics. ;)
Haha, maybe they used the golf scoring system in the poll, and everyone got to vote multiple times.
This is a typical "off by one" error. 141/140 = 1.0071...
So, it looks like the idiot who wrote the software for this poll didn't screw up the math, they screwed up counting!
They probably displayed the results at the same time a new vote was added, so the yes response was included, but the divisor (total number of responses) had not updated.
