Once, twice, three times a lady

Dr. Grumpy: "Are you taking the new medication on schedule?"

Mrs. Bidtid: "Yes, three times a day, just like the bottle says."

Dr. Grumpy: "How far apart are you spacing them?"

Mrs. Bidtid: "Every 12 hours."

You know, they say that some people's internal clocks aren't 24 hours. Some people live a 'day' that's closer to 30 or even 36 hours. Clearly this person is one of the latter.

Ask her if she's generally asleep at 32:00 hours.

"Once" a day translates to 11 in Spanish.

Our computer at work will not allow us to record midnight as a dosing time; it has to either be 23:59 or 00:01, so I could see how this woman might figure a dose TID occasionally for a Q 12 hrs interval. On the other hand, I seriously doubt that is what she is doing.
