Kid wanders into my office.
Nurse Grumpy: "What's up?"
Kid: (wailing) "I was playing in the sandbox and got sand all over my hands and under my fingernails!"
Nurse Grumpy: "Have you tried washing your hands?"
Kid: "Ummm... No."
Nurse Grumpy: "Go wash them in my sink over there. Use soap."
(Kid washes hands)
Kid: "It's all better now!"
Nurse Grumpy: "Okay, go have fun."
Kid: "I'm going back to the sandbox. What a neat trick!"

Where was this child's "minder"?
stay safe.
Ah, the few years when adults are omnipotent. They go fast and then grownups know nothing of value.
Brain dead... so young...
Reason # 689246 why I never wanted kids...
And to think that yesterday I commented that our society was not doomed. What a difference a day makes. Next call child protective services there is a case of parental neglect.
Good God! What is this country coming to! This is absolutely the craziest thing I've ever heard of in my entire life! What are kids even thinking these days and just exactly who the hell is teaching them- do they know nothing! What kind of future can they have for themselves. Imagine, a kid playing!!!!!
Is he being raised by wolves?
Tell this kid when he finds the magic tootsie rolls left behind by feral cats, not to eat them.
Just think how excited he is going to be when he finds out that he should wash his hands after using the restroom.
The angels will sing.
What are this kid's parents teaching him? Or not teaching him? This is just sad.
Nurse Grumpy saved the day, Yay!!!
One must wonder if the dear child had a dust cloud like Pig Pen ( from Peanuts) enveloping him or her?
I'm hoping this was a little kid...5 or 6...who maybe hadn't realized that you could wash your hands at school....i'm the kid who thought she had to take off her dress to use the toilet when i started 1st grade...i wasn't accustomed to wearing dresses very often..or using a toilet in a stall.....
Wow...sand boxes are nothing but germ infested containers.
Well, to be fair, maybe the kid was unaccustomed to sand and thought it was going to set like concrete.
Hmm this isn't at all like the sandbox app on my mommy's iPhone... ICK IT'S GETTING UNDER MY NAILS!!! What do I do? What do I do?
Kids who have never played on anything but a tablet...
Troll in the making.
Whodathunk it? I never knew washing your hands to get "stuff" off was a trick. :)
