Midnight. Not a sound from the pavement.

Dr. Grumpy: "So that was 2 weeks ago that you were in the hospital... How have you been doing?"

Mr. Percheron: "I'm fine, I mean, I don't remember much about that day, but everything else has come back. What was that called?"

Dr. Grumpy: "Transient Global Amnesia. It's uncommon, and fortunately generally benign. You'll probably never remember the day it happened, but that's not a big deal."

Mr. Percheron: "Maybe you can help me with this?" (hands me a folded paper).

Dr. Grumpy: "What is it?"

Mr. Percheron: "It's from the hospital. They sent me a satisfaction questionnaire about my stay. But I don't remember anything about it."

He hasn't lost his sense of humor in the fray of the TGA.

Toss that miserable piece of crap in the trash! Don't waste a precious minute of your life on it.

Usually they wait until the patient dies to send them that questionnaire.

He can truthfully state that his visit was nothing memorable.

What an incredible opportunity to help your patient tell the tale of the most amazing neurologist ever who plucked this poor patient from the jaws of death. A neurologist worthy of having a new wing in the hospital named after him. A neurologist whose work is literally invaluable, but since he does need to draw a salary to live in this challenging world, should have his salary tripled -- nay, quadrupled, given his heroics.

God bless this incredible doctor. On an unrelated note, where is your annual holiday gift list, Dr. G????

jono, I though it was hilarious that they sent one to my mother who has dementia. So I broke the rules and filled it out.

Why does that have me reflect on Pearl Harbor

The hospital wing has been named, it is the Brain Nerve wing. Drs. nerve and brain would have it no other way.
