Money well spent

Mr. Mercury: "I'm always concerned about my blood pressure. I have a blood-pressure machine at home, and I even travel with it."

Dr. Grumpy: "Where do your pressures usually run?"

Mr. Mercury: "I don't know. I've never used it."

Oh, that is just too funny, reminds me of the CPAP guys. I ask them how they are feeling after the sleep study and getting a home machine and they look at me like I am crazy and say, ""I can't WEAR one of those things". I think if you keep it (a CPAP or Bipap ) in the room, it wards off evil like a totem pole or something.

Stupid manufacturers making a defective product! They are supposed to help control blood pressure, you're saying hers didn't work. Why should she have to actually pay attention to it??

Until I saw that you referred to your patient as MISTER Mercury I was certain that you were talking about my mother.

The same approach myself, and most medical students, take to studying.

I've bought many textbooks. Some are well read, some are not. The hope is, by them being on a bookshelf near my bed, that at night I take in the info by osmosis. Needs further trials to verify efficacy though.
