Hahahahaha! Sometimes I'm so tired at the end of the day that when I go to wash my face, I only then realize that I forgot to take my glasses off first.
Happens now and again. Same with suddenly realizing why I see everything perfectly clear when looking for my glasses - after about 10 minutes and a rising panic, of course. (OK that last happened 2 times so far.)
glasses are a hard habit to break... it's been 2 years since I had lasik and I still push my glasses up when I'm tired. I figure I will finally have lost that habit around the time that I start to need reading glasses.
I once worked at an eye doctors office. This guy came in to get his contacts, put them on and couldn't see a thing! Turns out he was wearing his old contacts at the same time.
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Strange how that works, sort of like a fog lifting.

Hmm, sounds like me when I go looking for my glasses only to realise they're sitting there right on my nose. Durrr..
I usually spend 30 minutes looking for the keys that are in my hand or pocket.

Was the visit for new onset of blurred vision or was this an additional complaint along with something that really needed your expertise?
That was it.
Yep. I've gone looking for my cell phone while talking on it.
My mom once greeted my father and I in the kitchen in the morning with "Have either of you seen my teeth?"
Whatever it is appears to be genetic.
Hey, at least his glasses worked!
