When I was 12 I was a patient in the ED. At some point I asked if my mother could come back into the room and the nurse asked me what she looked like. I responded, "She wears a wig and has false teeth" In my defense I have to say that I had already been given pain medication at that point.
This blog is entirely for entertainment purposes. All posts about patients, or my everyday life, or anything else may be fictional, or be my experience, or were submitted by a reader, or any combination of the above. Factual statements may or may not be accurate. I could be making all this up. I may not even be a doctor. The only true statement on here is that I probably drink more Diet Coke than you do. A lot more.

Oh yes... of course I know her. That ugly b****
Fatter? Maybe. Uglier? Impossible.
Oh . . . that's classic. Thank's for sharing! I can't stop laughing. Maybe 'cause I had a patient say something similar a few months ago.
What a horrid woman. Who would say that about her own daughter?
haha, parents are all kinds of crazy; my time in peds has made that perfectly clear. gotreatheal.wordpress.com
I sense a long term, happy mother-daughter relationship there.
My response to her:
"I find that hard to believe."
I HOPE she was kidding. If not: Daughter probably needs therapy; Mother needs a swift uppercut to the jaw....
ah , of course, then it can only be....

My daughter is definitely slimmer and prettier than me! If she were fatter and uglier than me she'd be in a circus or on a TV documentary :-P
Who says that about their own child??? I have two really beautiful daughters and I am fat and old!
Maybe her daughter stole her new BF.
Really? Her daughter is alive and employed? I would think this one would have eaten her young.
