Dreams

So Mrs. Grumpy and I enjoyed our day off by (drumroll please)...

TAKING A NAP!

(I know, we're a wild and crazy pair)

During my nap, I dreamed I was looking through a catalog of childrens' clothes, and there was a line of "oversize" clothes by a company called "Because your kid is fat!"

I thought this was so incredibly tasteless, I tore out the page, and was going to scan it in so I could use it on the blog.

Then I woke up, and was incredibly disappointed to realize there was no such clothing line, and so no blog post.

That is so pathetic.

Ahh, nap dreams, the final frontier.

I once had a dream that I was arguing a case in front of the Supreme Court, and all I could think during the dream was 'I should totally post this to Facebook!'

I quit using Facebook when I woke up.

Too funny! You're even blogging in your sleep!

At least, you weren't working!

Hmm...word verification was union...union of sleep and blogging perhaps?

But it did make an awesome blog post!

It probably wouldn't have passed CPSIA testing anyway.

Back in the early/mid 90's I was really into chatting on the undernet. I once had a dream that was all in text. Weird stuff.

I think you have a new business.... register a domain for it quickly before one of your readers steals the idea.

You're sitting on a gold mine, Dr. Grumpy!

I don't think you realize the potential. The amount of overweight kids is exploding exponentially, and there just aren't enough oversize child clothing stores to take care of this demand.

And just think of all the new blog material you would have!

But it's the thought that counts! ;D

I dreamt the other day while sleeping that I was forced to leave my current job and work at another nearby hospital, which I hated. I was so upset in my dream that I was crying about missing my job. I woke up with a new appreciation for my job.

Which is more pathetic, taking naps on your day off or dreaming about blog posts?

Hubby and I went out to dinner last night at SIX. While commenting on how much we're enjoying our brand new AARP cards.

Now, THAT is pathetic.

Does any parent EVER admit that their kid is fat?
