Dr. Grumpy: "Let's see... At your last visit I prescribed Flipazol. Did that help?"
Ms. Webb: "No, it didn't do anything."
Dr. Grumpy: "Were there any side effects?"
Ms. Webb: "There were a lot of them. It was terrible! I can't believe you prescribed it for me!"
Dr. Grumpy: "What happened?"
Ms. Webb: "Actually, I never even had it filled. I didn't like all the side effects I read about."
Dr. Grumpy: "Then why did you say it didn't help you?"
Ms. Webb: "A lady I met online told me it wouldn't."

Dr Google strikes again…
Maybe you could consult with that random woman on the internet before prescribing something else? Might help you decide your patient's treatment.
"She also said that porn stars usually don't get questions like that in their Reddit AMAs, but she was grateful for the variety."
I think I will take up drinking after all. I have to say this was actually painful, really really painful, I am afraid that I will not be able to get it out of my memory
You should have prescribed Fukitol (side effect profile is much better)
"I met her through the comments section of a blog called 'The Grumpy Homeopath.'"
Wrong drug. Why do you not expect someone to flip out at flipazol??
Flipazol really needs to hire better people for their customer service website.
LMAO
Happens too often. Sad but true. It's not only the people with true anosognosia that go for the 'lady on the web said' BS.
I told my son, so, why is it that you can't follow the advice of a physician who's studied this all his life and works with other physicians that adhere to the science of reproducible research, but you can pick up and go with some random opinion from a woman on the internet who lost her veterinary license years ago for doing bad stuff, who's never seen you and doesn't care a fig about people who are as ill as you are, couldn't care a less if you live or die, and would never attend your funeral in a million years?
I saw her for knee arthritis. Nothing a friend had helped so she didn't want anything done.
Just wanted to know if it was cancer.
She should ask the nice lady on the internet which industrial cleanser or veterinary medicine would be best in her opinion.
