Glad she clarified that...
Lucky her. His standards of practice really crashed when he died.
"I specifically remember that, because my HMO charged me an extra fee to see a doctor from their 'live' list."
My former boss once said "I met him before he died" and, when I said "well I should hope so", didn't get it.
But he also thinks that the reason you get a fever when you're sick is because the invading bacteria/virus is generating heat in your body as it reproduces.
He's a microbiologist.
The follow-up to this story would be awesome if the answer had been 'after'!
