Time to hit the mailbag for stuff you guys have sent in.

Gary says he was looking for something to help keep his dog cool in summer, and saw this gadget that circulates ice water. I can only assume it's for dogs who have survived a horrific injury.

"Answers to 'Lucky.'"

Reader Nan says she was recently on a cruise, when this topic came up.

That's a Lyderpet knee brace for dogs with a CCL (aka ACL in humans) tear. No circulating water or cooling. I think the arrows are showing the direction of the velcro straps. (I have no idea if it's helpful in stabilizing the joint, but that's what it claims to do.)

I'm amazed that any Macedonians had time to write poetry in the 15th century, considering that at the time they were being conquered by the Ottoman Empire.
