Part of me says, "duh."

But I can hear all my past science, health and biology teachers and professors going "AAAAAAAAARG!"

This one is not the sharpest tack in the box.

But it seems that you can live despite a lot of your brain not working right.

Yea, Anon 10:37. Seriously, sometimes I think it would actually be a good idea for people to be required to take After School classes, like learning about local government, how to figure out a mortgage, parenting skills, politician wily tactics, CPR, how a gut works and some of this stuff that comes down the pike from the government with expectations that anyone can figure out the bureaucratise, the sort of things not finessed with a high school diploma. And, maybe remedial After School, too, for those that need refreshers occasionally.

But by the same token, there are those who live rather well and they have no heart at all.

"On the bright side, it looks like there's a new opening on the 'Today' show."

"It's a really great show, and I always learn a lot from watching it. It's frustrating, though, because it's supposed to be about a fox and his friends, and they always show the friends but I keep waiting for them to show the fox. Maybe he's sick and at the vet."
